Welcome to our new web abode : ~)

One of my favorite lyrics in a U2 song says:
"The heart is a bloom, shoots up through stony ground..."
Even better, here's the song:

It was a fantastic day at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds yesterday
exploring the work of many local and from-'round-the-country artists

Friday night in our Night Rhythms Live Beat,
Fred Gillen, Jr. and Matt Turk
played three stellar songs for us:

These Nameless Streets and It Really Matters, from their album:

and the song Devil's Bluff, found on Fred's album:

If you missed the performance, go to whud.com for the podcast.
As I type this, Fred & Matt are performing in Croton Point Park at
Clearwater's Great Hudson River Revival, and you can find out about
the many places to hear more of their music live at Gillen and Turk.

In the words of one of the stickers on Fred's guitar: WAGE LOVE.
