"Oh my ears and whiskers, how late it's getting!"

...said White Rabbit, to Alice. The idea of the magnificent writing of Lewis Carroll melding with the cinematic brilliance of Tim Burton...WOW! I'm not a see-it-opening-weekend movie goer, but look forward to the 3-D experience of 'mad' Johnny Depp & cast bringing Alice's adventure to life on film. I recently found this Alice In Wonderland Tea Party print I bought on Bleecker St. in 1997. The artist, Dougherty, created it with a Sharpie pen! The travelling tales of Henry Rollins is what I look forward to at Tarrytown Music Hall this Sunday night...after pushing the clock hands ahead an hour to avoid being late. : )Bring on the spring!

I hope you were tuned in to hear the sublime sounds of Jann Klose in our Night Rhythms Livebeat last night.

Jann played Doing Time, from his album titled Reverie. We also heard him perform Hold Me Down and listened to the first track of the album, Beautiful Dream.

Jann will be in the circle of singer-songwriter's at the John Street Jam in Saugerties, tonight @ 7:30pm. You can also find him live @ The Turning Point in Piermont, with Harmonious Wail this Thursday night @ 8pm. Jann tours extensively--here in the U.S. and he frequents the U.K., Germany and other venues in Europe. Hear more of his music and find out where he's playing, including an April 10th full-band show at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC at Jann's web home or space. Be sure to check his site for the new Doing Time video. Jann left us two autographed copies of Reverie that will be available for WHUD VIP Rewards members.

Like the 'melding' of visionaries referred to at the beginning of this post, just stumbled upon this gem...

Music is our Wonderland,
