Planet Earth sounds good : )

Did you celebrate our Earth this week? Thanks to the worldwide-wherever-you-want-to-go we call the internet, you can find images of just about anywhere, but sometimes a place you dream of visiting sort of comes to you. My friend Spencer arrived from Sydney yesterday and I finally tried the Australian genius that is Tim Tams! (it's a chocolate lover's nirvana) In spite of 20+ hours of travelling, he whipped up the most amazing curried deliciousness and introduced me to the music of Koomurri. There's just something about the sound of the didgeridoo that awakens a part of the brain. Of course, you could say that about all music, right?

This time in our Night Rhythms Livebeat, we enjoyed the 'soulbucket' sounds of Jay Wright and KK in the studio. The podcast will be posted here Monday--check it out if you missed it!

We heard Yesterday's Blues from The Low Down Dirty Love CD.

Jay mentioned that he's working on a new album and we had a preview of it with two great songs.

Bring Me Down, and he's sharing that one with a free download.

We also listend to the song, Stand Up.

Can't wait to hear the rest!Find Jay's calendar and hear more of his music at his site or space.

If you were tuned in Thursday night, Carla from Via Vanti in Mt. Kisco shared that she's kicking off the next search for Dogs in Party Hats-- a fun way to enjoy gelato and support Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Stop by today @ 3pm to meet celebradog Bocker the Labradoodle, who has inspired a banana caramel gelato called Labradoodlicious Swirl! It's a beautiful day on our planet...and I'm NUTS about this One Eskimo song. : )

Music + food=love,
Catherine Kitty 2
